⚔️ Pandora Guard Identifier

Enter the composition of the guard army standing in front of a pandora box. The tool will identify which variants could have generated that guard, based on the expected guard value range for each zone. Stack size bounds are used to produce a value range rather than a single number.

How the system works

Two separate mechanisms place pandoras. First, mandatory content places fixed or semi-fixed boxes before anything else. Then the value budget system fills each zone to its content value budget by randomly drawing from a weighted pool — pandoras are one category in that pool.

1. Fixed Mandatory Pandoras (Spawn & Side Zones)

Every player’s zone — whether Spawn or Side — always receives exactly these 4 pandora boxes regardless of map seed. They are placed before any random content.

2. Random Pool Pandoras (Spawn & Side Zones)

Beyond the 4 fixed boxes, the RMG fills each zone to its content value budget using a weighted pool. Pandoras compete with items, buildings, creature banks, and other content in that pool. Spawn Zones use a weight of 250000 / 1,465,000 (17.1%). Side Zones use 200000 / 1,382,500 (14.5%). Both draw from the same pandora sub-pool.

The sub-pool below shows which variants can appear and their relative probabilities within the pandora group. Note these are the variants that appear only from random placement — V0/V1/V4/V5 can also appear here as additional copies on top of the mandatory ones.

“Within group %” is the probability of THIS variant being picked, given that the RMG has decided to place a pandora (i.e., given it already rolled the pandora group). It does not include the chance of rolling a pandora at all (17.1% of the guarded content pool in Spawn, 14.5% in Side zones).

3. Center Zone — 6 Mandatory Random Pandoras

The center zone always receives exactly 6 pandora boxes as mandatory content. Each is drawn from the center pandora sub-pool (same 18-variant pool as Section 4), total weight: 13160. Some high-value variants have per-map caps (orange); once that cap is hit any further draws of that variant re-roll.

Beyond the 6 mandatory boxes, the center pool system (budget 2,150,000) can place more pandoras. The pandora group has weight 225000 / 1,355,000 (16.6%) in the center guarded pool. This sub-pool draws from higher-tier variants than the spawn zone pool.
